School Organisation
Our Intermediate School is not streamed. All classes are composite with Year 7 and Year 8 students working together.
Children with greatly different ability and work habits will be in the same class. Students therefore, will be taught at many levels within the same class.
The purpose of our school is to promote growth - to help our children to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge for growth now and in the future.
As well as providing stimulating academic programmes, we place special emphasis on the provision of cultural, social and physical programmes. The development of students' key competencies is an important part of the programme.
Provision is made on a school basis to cater for both gifted and talented students, and students with identified learning needs.
School organisation allows for flexibility to meet individual student needs.
