Communication & Consultation
Through consultation, positive relationships develop between parents, staff, students and the public. To achieve genuine consultation between the school parties, the following methods will be used:
Fortnightly School Newsletters
Meet the Teacher evening
Oral and Written Reports to parent/caregivers
Home Sample Books and Clearfiles home twice a year
School Community/Team Meetings
Regular Sporting, Social and Cultural events throughout the year
Parents encouraged to assist in our school
Parents encouraged to attend monthly Board of Trustees meetings
Whanau meetings
School Community Surveys
Consultation Meetings with Parents eg: Pubertal Health Programme
Daily: Log Books are sent home. These contain day to day homework, requests, information, reminders, messages between home and school. The Log Book provides an important communication link between parents / teachers
Our aim is to help your child to develop his/her natural abilities to his / her fullest extent. To that end, we wish for the closest harmony to exist between you as parents, and the school.
